We have to clean our clothes each week so we can keep them looking nice and smelling good. However, not all clothes are built with similar fabrics and should be cleaned differently than others. While some have the ability to be machine washed others should be dry cleaned or hand washed.
At times the bras that we wear our constructed with lacy designs or such nice material that we cannot or are afraid to wash with the machine. Instead we will endeavor to hand wash it. Find out what steps must be taken to get it done properly and in a hurry for when your machine might be broken down.
Did you know that when you decide to hand wash a bra you are actually making a point that it will hold up longer? The first thing you have to do is fill the sink up with cold water and mix in a bit of laundry soap. Just a little bit will be enough to clean it.
Put your bra in the water with the clasps undone so that it is open. When you do machine wash your bra you have to always set it open in a lingerie bag so that it does not grab onto anything else that is in it.
Soak the bra for twenty minutes before rubbing it softly together. When you do this be careful that you do not move the underwire. This may be a pain to endeavor to repair or it may need to be withdrawn.
Empty the sink and fill it up with cold water. Rinse the bra off for a few minutes and move it around so that soap is removed completely. Empty the water and rinse it with cold running water.
Use a clean towel to blot it dry and then lay it flat out across a rack. It will usually take a couple of hours or a night for the
bra to dry.
